======================== READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING ======================== If you already have any ~450 MB MKVs from season 2, follow these steps (for uTorrent): 1) Add the torrent, and UNCHECK "Start Torrent" (Otherwise, add the torrent and immediately select "Stop" from the right-click menu) 2) Locate your MKVs and copy them into the folder newly created for this torrent (should be "My Little Pony_ Friendship is Magic Season 2 (1st Half)") 3) Rename the MKV files to their matching names in this torrent's file list 4) In uTorrent, right click on the stopped torrent and select "Force Re-Check" 5) If the MKVs match those in the torrent, their pieces of the Downloaded bar should turn green 6) Start the torrent These steps will allow you to reseed the files you already have without redownloading. Thank you tons! Download is capping at 400Kb/s, but once this finishes, you guys all can have one more seeder for a while!
excellent. Thanks)
For some strange, godawful reason, every time I try to open the folder that this downloads to, Explorer crashes. I think it's trying to make thumbnails from the files, and failing.
Which is becoming quite the problem!
The only one that isn't doing that so far is Cutie Pox.
The files still play, though, as long as I open them with VLC.

@Fruckert:
What program do you have associated with MKV files?
I suspect that associating with Windows Media Player would have Explorer try to generate thumbnails, just like any other movie file (avi, mp4, etc.) Although the contained H264 and AC3 streams are both supported by Windows software, the MKV file format isn't.
That might be the cause of the crash -- Explorer successfully reads ep. 6, for some reason, but crashes as it tries to generate thumbs for the others.

I have it associated with VLC.
I also had it associated with DivX, but that crashed as well.
My solution was to just recode them into MP4s with Xmedia Recode. That solved the problem quite handily.

@Fruckert:
I think I found the problem -- VLC and DivX don't properly support "header removal compression":
"The reason for crashes in Windows Explorer is the DivX thumbnail component which does not support this feature. Uninstalling it will fix the issue. There are reports that DivX Plus 8 seems to have fixed the crashes, but the thumbnails are still completely black."

Awesome I'll download this ASAP, but I did download the single of May The Best Pet Win. On my PC it works perfectly 10/10 A 10/10 V. However, when I try to convert it to play on PS3 (using Any Video Converter) the audio and video is synced up until after the Find a Pet Song, but then goes out of sync after that and the audio is faster than video. Any ideas to fix that?
@flipkillah:
Any Video Converter must have screwed up. What were you converting the MKV to? Does the converted file play normally on your PC?
Try using tsMuxeR to losslessly remux MKV files to M2TS files. These should be much more compatible with the PS3, especially since M2TS is what Bluray discs tend to use.

Sigh, for the thousand time ...
Stop ... using ... crappy ... VLC and your playback-problems will go away!
Get a real player like Zoom Player etc. or even Media Player Classic HomeCinema ( which btw. has much better quality and performance ).

It would be good...if you hadn't used periods instead of spaces... instead of registering as "_.mkv" files, they're registering as "_.Little.Pony.Friendship.is.Magic.[episode number].[title].720p.AC3.5.1.mkv" files. I've managed to rename some of them by highlighting them with a renamable file and renaming it, but it doesn't always work. No program I use works; it's a serious pain!
First four episodes don't play for me. They start then quit. The other files play fine. I'm downloading the file again just to confirm it's not something on my end.
Seems it is my player that's the problem. Tried a new one and they played. Strange that the others files played but not the first four.
